Khun Im, My Familia uses a 1JZ, Holset 40 turbo, 256 HKS cams, 550cc injectors, and 2JZ intake manifold, but is otherwise standard. The transmission is a Toyota A342 with a modified valve body, racing clutches and steels, and a 4200 rpm stall converter by MV Automatics in Australia. With only 402 RWHP it has run a best of 10.70 et at 207 KPH. . .. . . because the chassis tuning is very good. Yes you can use an automatic behind an SR, but you should use a 3-speed, not a "PG" (? Powerglide? -- oonly 2-gears). I hope this helps.
