But, due to safety precautions,we didn't run during eliminations on Sunday do to the lack of seat time in the car. Carl only had a total of 5 runs in the car and we did not feel comfortable endangering Carl or our competitors. The car did run a 9.01 at 84 mph, this was after Carl went through only the first 3 gears and pulled the chutes at the 1000ft mark and still had 2 more gears and 320 ft to go. If he would have stayed in it, we feel that this would be a low 7 second or high 6 second pass. This car is  without a doubt a 6 second car and we will see these record runs once Carl becomes comfortable in the seat.[/QUOTE]
