The Veyon on the other hand is a one-shot buy, and even with 7-figure price tag you get NO options to upgrade the internals; and most that have that kind of money liquid are doubtful to even care enough to threaten the livelihood of their million dollar baby. The Veyon is clean and simple, just a car designed to be exclusive, exotic, fast and most of a dependable for decades upon decades. This means that Veyron's trans is constantly working to keep max power to the ground WHILE managing the torque to prevent a really nasty, expensive situation from arising. The GTR never really cared, look at the the customer complaints about detonated transmissions, given that credence or not the volume does insinuate credential. Basically if you assume that in terms of HP/lb they are evenly match one can also assume that the Veryon is held back by it's internal management system, while in the P800 the driver is complete responsible, that entire engine/drivetrain could blow if he is even a a split-second off. Now go back an look at this video, the match was dead on, that is until the GTR's turbos hit full spool.
